Posters of Kogi state governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for 2023 president had flooded Dutse, the Jigawa state capital and other major cities.
Hotpen observed that the posters were pasted in the midnight by some volunteer youths in some roundabouts, government buildings and street light poles in the state capital Dutse.
The development came barely one week after some groups of concern Nigerians formed a collation of youths calling on Governor Yahaya Bello to indicate interest and vie for president office come 2023.
Finding by our reporter gathered that volunteer youth groups from the state organized themselves and went round the state to paste the posters of their candidate for presidency.
A trader, Muhsin Ishaq at police command roundabout told Hotpen that they left their business place around 11pm with no any sign but to their surprised when they come out following morning they saw posters pasted on various locations.
The posters were also seen pasted in front of some houses, shops and government buildings, other major cities witness the development of Yahaya Bello’s presidential posters flooded their towns.
Contacted one of the residents in Dutse who was among the volunteers youth said “I really like the man, he is among the talented and courageous youth politicians whom I believe
if he becomes Nigerias president will solve youth’s problems.
“Solving youth’s problems is like solving the country’s problems being the majority of Nigerian population, we have confidence on him he will excelled”.
Commenting on the over flooding of the Kogi state governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello’s presidential campaign posters in the state, the APC caretaker committee chairman, Alhaji Dikkuma said every Nigerians and member of the party has a right to run for any position and go any where across the country for his campaign.
we as a party and official of the party we are not contacted, so we don’t know anything about that.”
Alhaji Dikkuma explained that the party is not aware officially, we only noticed the presence of Yahaya Bello’s posters in the state.
