Lamido pays condolence visit to Jigawa NUJ

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Jigawa State, Dr. Mustapha Sule Lamido has paid a condolence visit to the Correspondent Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists in the State to commiserate with the members over the demise of their chairman Ahmed Abubakar.

Dr. Mustapha who was the PDP candidate for Jigawa Central Senatorial District in the 2019 General election in company of other leaders of the party described Ahmed’s death as a great loss not only to the bereaved family but to the journalism profession and the State as a whole.

Lamido described Late Ahmed as a committed and jovial person who dedicated his life to the journalism profession.

His words:-“It’s a great lost for all us, from Allah we came and to him we shall return. I know it is not easy, I know what I feel deep inside me to come here and not meeting Ahmed seated among you, its so painful.

“I condole with you, his family and Jigawa State over his death on behalf of my family”
