Ten additional Bethel Baptist Secondary School students kidnapped by bandits in Kaduna State have been released.
After spending over 75 days in the hands of their kidnappers, the students were released on Saturday.
Armed men raided the school in the state’s Chikun Local Government Area on July 5, abducting the students.
Kaduna police authorities have not responded to the children’s release.
However, a senior school official informed Channels Television that the pupils were released after the bandits were paid an undisclosed sum of money.
He explained that the students were reunited with their parents after their release and transferred to the hospital for treatment.
