“Similarly, ransom payments to bandits by relatives of kidnapped victims have now ceased due to the effective enforcement of security measures, which has rendered communication between the bandits and their informants impossible.” In this situation, kidnapped victims have now become liabilities for the bandits and are being unconditionally released following extensive search and rescue operations.
The Police Command has succeeded in reducing rampant cases of abduction, armed robbery, car snatching, Burglary and housebreaking, and other heinous crimes as a result of the new security measures implemented in urban communities.
