Jigawa State Government has proposed whopping sum of N12.7bn for the completion and equipping of all the ongoing secondary health facilities in 2022.
Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar made this known while presenting the 2022 appropriation bill to the State House of Assembly, said arrangement is underway to equip Hadejia and Kazaure Specialists hospitals as well as upgrade General Hospitals with State-of-the-art medical equipment and facilities.
The Governor explained that N6.4bn has been earmarked for the completion and equipping of all ongoing General Hospitals, while the sum of N2bn was set aside in the budget for Birnin Kudu, Hadejia and Kazaure Specialist hospitals projects.
He stated further that N3.2bn was equally set aside in the 2022 appropriation bill for constituency projects, added that N1.86bn for the completion of ongoing ones.
