2023: National Forum of Ex-Councilors Drums Support for Tinubu

HOTPEN – Ahead of the 2023 general elections, the National Association of Ex-Councilors, has endorsed the All Progressive Congress, APC, national leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, as a potential presidential candidate.
In a statement signed by the Natioanl President, Amb. Hon. Auwal Kassim Hassan and made available to HOTPEN in Kano said “judging from where we’re coming from, to former Lagos State governor, is the most suitable candidate and promising candidate”.
Hon. Auwal Kassim announced their unreserved support for the former Lagos Governor, declaring him “the best candidate to lead Nigeria from 2023”.
He said ‘The forum ex-rayed into the entire political landscape of Nigeria to fish out the best Presidential material worthy of its support in 2023, and concluded that the personality of Chief Ahmed Bola Tinubu, the Jagaban of Borgu Kingdom supersede all the aspirants who have indicated interest to contest for the Presidency in 2023″.
The President noted with dismay how successive administrations in Nigeria, including the incumbent, have been paying leap service to the plights of Nigerians.
According to the statement, “the decision to endorse Chief Ahmed Bola Tinubu is informed by the deep sense of moral feelings of the youth that should mark the rebirth of proper restoration of the entire political where security and wellbeing of the citizens is the focus of the leaders”.
The statement further explained that “Tinubu has built the network of national integration and cohesion that truly exemplifies him as the unifying factor in Nigeria’s politics”.
The President assured Nigerians that Tinubu will develop Nigeria if he wins the presidency in 2023.
He also inaugurated the forum’s coordinators of the 44 local governments areas of Kano for grassroots mobilization
