2023: Mustapha Inuwa Declares To Succeed Masari, Says Ambition Not Do Or Die

HOTPEN – Secretary to the Katsina State Government (SGS), Mustapha Muhammad Inuwa has said that his 2023 gubernatorial ambition is not do or die affairs.
The top contender spoke at the APC Party Secretariat in Katsina on Tuesday while delivering his intent letter to vie for governorship seat in the forthcoming 2023 general elections, Mustapha Inuwa explained that his intention to vie for Katsina top job arose from pressure by individuals and groups for him to indicate interest to succeed his principal, Gov. Aminu Bello Masari come 2023.
The highly influential SGS told the mamoth gathering that he pray to Almighty Allah to choose the best candidate for Katsina State as it’s governor in the 2023 elections.
He said “if my ambition will not be a positive transformation to Katsina and it’s people I wish God will substitute me with the best candidate to continue where Gov Masari stopped.”
Mustapha stated that he has not just come to the party secretariat seeking for the governorship seat but he has seek the blessing of his boss, Governor Aminu Bello Masari who wished him well and gave him the approval.
His words:-“I’m a loyal and active member of our great party APC, I held various positions within the party since APP, ANPP and later APC including the state Chairman among others, as such I’m here today to seek for the party’s blessing and approval to contest for governorship election come 2023 in Katsina State”.
He charged his supporters and other members of APC in the state to be good ambassadors worthy of emulation in other states, as he urged them to imbibe the culture of tolerance, maturity and respect for others.
Speaking earlier, the chairman of APC, Katsina State Chapter, Alhaji Sani Aliyu JB, said Mustapha Inuwa is the first aspirant who visited the party secretariat and indicate his interest to vie for governorship election come 2023, saying this has indicated that he has respect for the party and it’s EXCO.
He said, “we are greatful with your presence, today marked another milestone history in Katsina APC and we appreciate your kind gesture, we are proud of your commitment and support to the party, we wish you all the best in your gubernatorial ambition”.
Highlights of the event, include presentation of intent letter by the gubernatorial aspirant, Mustapha Inuwa to the party.
