HOTPEN – The nine gubernatorial aspirants gunning for the seat of number one citizen in Jigawa state under the platform of APC have pledged to support whoever among them that emerged victorious in the scheduled primaries.
The APC leader in Jigawa and one of the party gubernatorial aspirants, Hon Faruku Adamu Aliyu made the disclosure during the commissioning ceremony of his campaign office in Dutse.
Hon. Farouk explained that they have a consensus that, provided the party primary election is conducted in a transparent manner they will all accept it and support the winning candidate who emerged winner through popular votes.
Hon Faruku, a one term member Representing Birnin-Kudu/Buji federal constituency Aliyu stated further that all the candidates have taken the state Governor Badaru Abubakar by his word as he said, all the aspirants have equal right, adding that they don’t have any anointed candidate among the party aspirants.
He then called on the delegates to shine their eyes and ensure they vote a candidate base on merit.
Hon Farouk, one of the close associate of President Muhammad Buhari promised to use agriculture and Information Communication Technology ( ICT) to improve Jigawa economy, eradicate poverty, and job creation if elected as Governor of Jigawa state come 2023.
His words:- “I will also continue with all the developmental projects and programs started by Governor Badaru Abubakar which are inline with All Progressive Congress (APC) agenda”.
