According to Mr. Celestine, the training centered around facilitating platforms that will drive conversations on how to engage the political system and actors, party structure as well as government agencies to influence the active participation of youths and women in politics.
He said “the training availed the participants the opportunity to develop skills in the electoral processes and equipped them with the knowledge of public finance management and accountability, x-raying the budgetary processes and the Nigerian revenue ecosystem with special attention to Kano State and the 2022 Appropriation Act.

The popular maxim of ” Youths are the leaders of tomorrow does not count anymore in Nigeria, “that tomorrow, should start today”. He explained.
Mr. Celestine said it’s time to break the jinx and the political dynasty and allow the youths, and women to take the center stage in the affairs of governance in the country.
A participant, who doubles as the Special Guest of the Honor and gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples’ Redemption Party (PRP), Alh. Salihu Tanko Yakasai lauded the initiative which he said will encourage Women, Youths, and People Living with Disabilities to develop a passion for participating in all the political processes as an important voting bloc in the society.
He added that the training empowered the participants, especially those who have the ambitions and talents to aspire for political positions in their respective constituencies and make much impact on the lives of the people.
