The Gumel Emirate Council has organized a two-day training workshop for 22 district scribes in the Emirate.
Declaring the workshop open, the Emir of Gumel, Alhaji Ahmad Muhammad Sani represented by the Galadiman Gumel, Alhaji Usman Maje Muhammad said the workshop is aimed at improving the administrative coordination between the Emirate Council and the 22 Districts in the Emirate.
The monarch explained that with the present development the Emirate Council is wishing to see positive changes from the scribes after the workshop.
Earlier speaking, the secretary of Gumel Emirate Council, Alhaji Murtala Aliyu said the Emir approved the training for all the Emirate Council staff.
Murtala Aliyu who is also the Majidadin Gumel stated further that the district scribes were first to be selected for the training in view of the vital role they played in administrative coordination.
Alhaji Murtala Aliyu, therefore, urged the participants to listen carefully and ask questions where necessary for better administrative activities.
On his part, the Dallatun Gumel Alhaji Musa Ayuba said the objective of the workshop was to create awareness among the district scribes on improved records keeping.
He urged them to put into practice what they will learn during and after the workshop for better administrative performance.
