Borno Radio Listeners Forum Pays Advocacy Visit to Kano

HOTPEN – Borno state radio listeners association paid an advocacy visit to Kano state in a bid to establish working relations with the media and members of the press in the state.
The visit, according to the forum is to create a symbiotic synergy between the listeners of radio stations across 19 northern Nigeria and the members of the pen profession in the pursuit of excellence.
This was made known by the secretary of the association, Comrade Jidda Adam while addressing newsmen on Monday in Kano.
Jidda said the visit was also geared towards strengthening the bilateral relationship between the association, radio stations in Kano, and the good people of Borno state.
The forum took a tour of selective radio stations which include; Rahma, Freedom, Dala F.M, and Jallah Radio among others.
Speaking, the Chairman, Nigerian Union of Journalists, Kano state council, comrade Abbas Ibrahim expressed delightfulness over the visit by the team.
He said the Nigerian Union of Journalists is ever ready to carry everyone along in promoting radio listenership as well as news consumption through various mediums.
He assured the forum that the Kano council of the NUJ is pleased to partner with them in their initiatives particularly in enhancing community values among others.
