HOTPEN – An Igbo businessman known as Mr Ifeanyi has been shot dead by some unknown gunmen in Sabongari area of Kano state.
DAILY NIGERIAN gathered that the incident occured on Saturday around 8:45pm at Azubros Plaza, off France Road, Sabongari Kano.
Witnesses said the gunmen stormed the area, fired at their target and zoomed off in a vehicle.
“It is clear they came to kill Mr Ifeanyi. He is a big battery dealer in Sabongari,” said a witness.
Meanwhile, Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, the Police Public Relations Officer PPRO, Kano Command, could not be reached for comment at the time of filing this report.
