HOTPEN – The Speaker, Kano State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari has urged people in the state to always visit health institutions for a regular medical check-ups in order to sustain their well-being.
Rt. Hon. Hamisu Chidari stated this while flagging off the free medical Services which he sponsored in collaboration with Islamic Medical Association, Kano Branch at General Hospital, Dambatta.
This was contained In a statement signed and made available to Hotpen by the Chief Press Secretary to the speaker, Uba Abdullahi.
According to Uba, the Speaker who was represented by Alhaji Saidu Abdullahi pointed out that ensuring well-being of the society is among the top priority of the Speaker, stressing that the free medical care is for the benefit of the people of Dambatta and Makoda local government areas.
Alhaji Saidu further explained that the free medical care would go a long way in making the lives of the people around the area better and he urged them to use the opportunity for their betterment.
While commenting, the Head of the Medical team, Dr. Muhammad Lawan Adamu, said “this kind gesture is a clear indication of the Speaker’s utmost concern for the betterment of the people of these twin localities.”
He expressed delight with the large turnout of the people for medical attention assuring them that the team would attend to them.
In their separate remarks the Council Chairmen of Dambatta, Hon Muhammad Abdullahi Kore and that of Makoda, Hon Mahmoud Abdullahi Makoda, applauded the kind gesture of the Speaker and appealed to the patients to be orderly during the consultation hours.
They similarly called on the people of Dambatta and Makoda to reciprocate the gesture in the forthcoming polls by voting for the candidates of the All Progressive Congress APC.
