HOTPEN – Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa state has on behalf of All Progressive’s Congress (APC) Jigawa chapter presented flags to candidates contesting for various elective positions in Jigawa Northwest Senatorial district to electorates.
The candidates received their flags in a mammoth crowd for the flagging off of its state zonal campaign held in Gumel.
Governor Muhammadu Badaru Abubakar who is also chairman of the state APC campaign council for the 2023 general election said APC is the only party trusted by good people in the state.
He examined that between 2015 and to date, APC has executed numerous projects and programs that positively touched the lives of Jigawa people and also improved their social and economic well-being.
Badaru charged the APC candidates to abide by the INEC and Security guidelines and other rules of law as they go back to their various constituencies for grassroots and door-to-door campaigns.
Addressing the mammoth crowd, the state chairman of APC, Hon. Aminu Sani Gumel called on the people of the state to vote for APC at all levels for the continuation of good policies and programs that can take Nigeria and Jigawa state to the next level of progress and sustainable development.
In his speech, the APC gubernatorial candidate, Malam Umar Namadi reassured the people that if elected as the next state governor in 2023, he will maintain the APC legacy of an open, transparent, and all-inclusive government.
