Kano State House of Assembly has promised to use the contributions of the organizations and individuals generated during the conduct of public hearing on the 2023 appropriation bill held at the Assembly today.
The Speaker, Kano State House of Assembly, Rt.Hon. Engineer Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari stated this while declaring open the public hearing at the Chamber of the Assembly.
The Speaker, who was represented by the Chairman House Standing Committee on Appropriation, Hon Abba Ibrahim Garko and Member representing Garko Constituency said numerous contributions received from participants during the previous public hearings has been of tremendous importance to the House,they did not only facilitates the passage of the bill but also added value and credibility to our law- making processes.
Hon Abba Ibrahim Garko further stressed that today’s contributions would also be used in facilitating the passage of the bill and appreciated the large turn out of the participants in today’s Public hearing
The Chairman of the House Standing Committee on Appropriation Hon Abba Ibrahim Garko thanks the Speaker and Hon. Members for their support to the Public hearing and their exalted role in ensuring speedy passage of the bill.
He also saluted the State Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for timely presentation of the 2023 Appropriation bill to the House.
He similarly, applauded the gesture of all the Participants for sparing their time to attend the public hearing.
Series of papers and contributions were received from different organisations, Community based organisations, Development partners, Traditional Institutions, Civil Societies and Individuals during the hearing.
