After exhaustive negotiations on the implementation of the Consequential Adjustment of the N30,000:00 National Minimum Wage for Officers on SGL.07 and above in the Bauchi State Public Service during a meeting of the Bauchi State Joint Public Service Negotiating Council (JPSNC) held between Tuesday, 20th and Wednesday, 21″ December, 2022 at the Conference Hall, Office of the Head of Civil Service, Abubakar Umar Secretariat Complex, Bauchi, the following resolutions/agreements were reached:-
i. That Government has agreed to implement the consequential adjustment of the N30,000:00 National Minimum Wage for Officers on SGL.07 and above in the Bauchi State Public Service with effect from 1st December, 2022 as per attached nine (9) tables:-
a) HAPSS; b) CONPCASS;
c) CONTEDISS;
d) CONMESS;
e) CONHESS;
f) CONTISS (Academic);
g) CONTISS (Non-Academic);
h) HATISS (Academic); i) HATISS (Non-Academic).
ii. That the kind gesture was in line with the present Administration’s commitment towards motivating and improving the standard of living of the State and Local Governments Civil Servants for greater productivity and a result oriented service;
iii. That the Forum (Government and Organized Labour Sides) unanimously adopted the foregoing and promised to continue to give maximum cooperation and support to the Government with a view to ensuring efficient and effective service delivery to the good people of Bauchi State.
