Garba Empowers 200 Women, Secure Job Offer For 11 Youths In Kano.

Mohammed Garba midweek empowered no fewer than 200 women in Kano.
The philanthropic gesture came on the heels of reports that he secured job offer for no fewer than 11 youths with the Police, Civil Defence, and Immigration Services.
Th report further had it, the Commissioner also rented block of flats for indigent students from Yakasai ward studying at Kano University of Science Technology KUST) to ease their academic activities .
In a colourful ceremony that was attended by top notch APC stalwarts in the state, the former NUJ President explained that the gesture was designed to boost the capital base of the beneficiaries.
Hotpen reports that, the 200 beneficiaries who were mostly small scale entrepreneurs were carefully selected from Kano metropolis.
Garba who also double as the spokesperson of Gawuna/Garo Campaign Directorate said the token was in fulfilment of his promise earlier.
He further assured his readiness to sustain and spread the gesture to several others, adding that philanthropy runs in his blood.
The Commissioner for Information therefore enjoined beneficiaries to make judicious use of fund to spread wealth in the society.
In his speech earlier, the chief host, and chairman, Kano Municipal Council, Comrade Faizu Alfindiki said the APC administration in the state under the leadership of Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje was ready to turnaround the face of human capital development in the state for maximal effect.
Faizu Alfindiki who also doubled as the Youth leader, Gawuna/Garo campaign Council said ” we’ve done again to further demonstrate our readiness to do more”.
Comrade Alfindiki therefore charged the electorate to vote APC in the forthcoming General elections by queuing behind party candidates at all levels.
