Kano Pension Gratitude Amendment Law Scales First Reading

The Kano State Pensions and Gratuity Amendment law, 2022, sponsored by the Majority Leader, Hon. Labaran Abdul Madari, Member representing Warawa Constituency has scaled first reading in the floor of the House.
In a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary of the Legislative House, Uba Abdullahi, said
the Clerk and Head of Legislative Service, Alhaji Garba Bako Gezawa during today’s plenary session presided over by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Engineer Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari in which the House agreed with the first reading.
Similarly in today’s session, Kano State free maternal and child health care bill 2022 has also scale first reading .
The statement added that, the bill which was a Private Member Bill sponsored by the Deputy Majority Leader, Hon. Pharmacist Magaji Dahiru Zarewa,Rogo Constituency and Hon. Dr. Musa Ali Kachako Takai Constituency, was read by the Clerk and Head of Legislative Service, Alhaji Garba Bako Gezawa which was unanimously agreed by the Honourable Members
Like wise,Kano State and Local Government Revenue administration, codification and consolidation, Amendment law, 2022 and that of Kano State Emirate to Council, Amendment law 2022 as well as that of Kano State House of Assembly Service Commission, Amendment law has also received first reading by the Clerk and Head of Legislative Service, Alhaji Garba Bako Gezawa still in today’s session.
In addition the State Traffic Law 1963 which was sponsored by the Majority Leader, Hon Labaran Abdul Madari has also scaled first reading by the same Clerk Alhaji Garba Bako Gezawa.
According to the statement, the bills and Amendment Laws will then undergoes further Legislative actions before being pass into Law.
