Former Jigawa Deputy Governor Joins PDP

Former Jigawa state Deputy Governor, Ahmed Mahmoud Gumel has finally back to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
In a group photography went viral on social media, the gubernatorial candidate of PDP, Mustapha Sule Lamido along side with his Deputy, Babandi Ibrahim Gumel and other chieftain of the party visited Mahmoud Gumel at his personal residence in Kano.
Hotpen reports that, it was early today, Mahmoud Gumel tendered his resignation letter from APC through his ward’s chairman in Gumel local government area of Jigawa state.
In a related development, the PDP Gubernatorial Candidate, Mustapha Lamido has posted in his facebook page saying “Today, I joined H. E. Ibrahim Saminu Turaki and our leaders to receive the former Deputy Governor of Jigawa State, H. E. Ahmed Mahmoud Gumel who rejoined his rightful home.
“He is also the commissioner representing Jigawa State in Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC)”. Said Lamido jnr.
