An estimated 2,000 supporters of the former SGS, Dr. Mustapha Muhammad Inuwa have crossed-carpet from the opposition PDP and other parties to the ruling APC in his country home town Danmusa local government area of Katsina State.
The decampees were led by the Chairman, Ɗanmusa local government area, Sani Abu Minister were received by the APC Katsina State Gubernatorial Candidate, Dr. Dikko Umar Radda.
It was gathered that, Hon. Sani Abu led the complete structure of the PDP from each of the 11 wards of the local government area into the folds of the APC.
He also donated a complete office complex to the APC, which Dr. Radda commissioned during the visit.
Hotpen reports that, Mustapha Inuwa, an influential former SGS resigned his position and participated in the APC gubernatorial primary election and lost to Dikko Radda.
Mustapha later decamped from the ruling party in the state, the APC, to the main opposition party, PDP, and was appointed as Campaign Director-General of PDP in the state for the Lado Danmarke Gubernatorial Candidature.
During the event, Dr. Dikko Radda trekked for several kilometers to District head palace amidst a tumultuous crowd of supporters singing, dancing and chanting hilarious songs against the former SGS in Hausa, “Ba mu son turmi”, meaning, we don’t want mortar.
