The Zamfara Chairman of the All Progressives Congress APC, Hon. Tukur Umar Danfulani today distributed 15 saloon cars to various groups in support of Governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle of Zamfara’s second term bid in office.
This is contained in a statement made available to Hotpen, signed by the state publicity secretary of the party Yusuf Idris in Gusau.
Presenting the vehicles to the beneficiaries at a well attended event which took place at the Gusau Old Livestock Market, the APC Chairman Hon. Danfulani noted that owing to the increasing support being registered for the governor in the state, there is need for individual and corporate support to meet the logistics needs of the campaign train.
He said the APC has been overwhelmed by the increasing number of support groups wishing to be involved with full individual and collective commitment in the campaign to return the governor for the second term in the upcoming 2023 election in the state.
Danfulani who described the vehicle distribution as the first batch to the support groups, expressed appreciation to the wonderful support the APC is receiving in the state assuring that the party will not disappoint them.
He urged members of the party and other supporters to continue to be law abiding and play politics with maturity so that others can learn from them.
Speaking on behalf of the benefiting groups, Alhaji Sani Biggi said they have been strongly encouraged with the donation which will now make it easier for them to cover the state soliciting support for the governor.
Alhaji Sani Biggy explained that the groups are compositions of people of like minds who have closely been monitoring the Matawalle development indices which have touched all sectors of the state and are now compelling the citizens to support the Matawalle second term bid so that they can continue to enjoy the dividends of democracy.
