The Yobe State APC Chairman Alhaji Muhammad Gadaka has today Sunday 29 January 2023 attended the funeral prayers of Alh Adamu Usman Bazam Madakin Gudi, former elected Chairman of Fika local government area.
According to the statement signed by the press Secretary to the Chairman Hajiya Sa’adatu Maina made available to Hotpen newspaper said that, the funeral prayers was led by the chief imam Gudi Emirate Imam Ibràhim Mohammad at the Palace of Mai Gudi in Gadaka Town of Fika local government at exactly 2:05pm.
Gadaka, who prayed to God for forgiveness to the deceased and for the family to bear the fortitude of his irreparable loss. He also prayed to Allah to grant him Aljannatul Firdausi.
The deceased died at the of 69 in Yobe state university Teaching Hospital Damaturu after a protracted illness. He is survived by two wives and nineteen children (19).
Late Adamu Bazam a one time elected Chairman of Fika local government was an extremely kind person, simple, and straight forward who always mixed freely with all categories of people around him.
Those in attendance were the Deputy governor Alh idi Barde Gubana, Secretary to the state government, Alh Baba Mallan wali, Commissioners Ministry of Home affairs information and culture Mohammad Lamin and Humanitarian affairs and disaster management Dr Abubakar Garba iliya.
Others are Some members of the state house of assembly Hon Suleman Yakubu and Hon ishaku Daya, Hon. Saminu Musa Lawan respectively.
Also in attendance were special advisers, on Environment, Housing and health, liasion officers, local government Chairmen, General Manager printing cooperation and other Chief executives of bords and parastatals as well as hundreds of sympathizers from any angle of the state and neighbour state of Gombe and others.
