Lawan Shettima empowers constituents in Yobe

The Member representing Geidam, Yunusari and Bursari in House of Representatives, Hon. Lawan Shettima Ali, empowered his constituents, in Geidam town as part of his Constituency’s projects for his people.
Those items distributed by the Hon. Lawan Shettima to his constituents including 3 well equipped ambulances, 4 gulf wagon,15 Jega (Boady’s Tricycle machine), 35 Keke Napep, 77 grinding machines, 350 water pumping machines for irrigation, dry season farming, 65 wheelchairs (circles) for people with disabilities, 330 sewing machines, Oxen cows 62, ploughs with Amalanke, 31 instructional materials with HP Laptops for five schools across the constituency, 600 bags of 25kg rice, 600 bags of 25kg grains and others.
Speaking at the ceremony, member House of Representatives, Hon. Lawan Shettima said, he was full of gratitude to Allah for making the day come true, and appreciates his constituents for thier support and encouragement always given to him.
Shettima promised to do more for the people, just as he also asked entire people of Yobe state to vote for the APC candidates from the President down to the state house members.
Adding that, the APC administration under President Muhammadu Buhari has done remarkable job for the improvement of security in North East and the country at large.
“As We praise the government of president Muhammad Buhari and Governor Mai Mala Buni for providing an enabling environment so conducive for my people.” Shettima said
The event attracted high profile politicians including the Speaker, Yobe State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Ahmed Lawan Mirwa with other members, local Governments caretaker chairmen, great APC Local Government and wards Party Chairmen and thousands of APC party supporters from his constituency and other places.
The occasion also witnessed the defection of many top PDP supporters and other parties of the area who decamped to the ruling APC.
The Items was peacefully distributed across the 31 political wards of the three local governments areas and the Constituents appreciated the gestures, as revealed that, this empowerment would encourage economics activities of the people in the area and Yobe state respectively.
