All concerted efforts have been concluded in eradicating violence against women across the state,this news was made available to journalists In Bauchi during inauguration of state executives by the professionals women Network,PWN
The chairperson of the Association,Hadiza Ahmad Maikudi said that all efforts and arrangements have already been made to established a community radio stations across Bauchi state to fight all forms of gender based violence and other sexual abuses through advocacy programs.
She noted that the aims and objectives of this movement was to also empowered and encouraged women to fully participate in politics and economic activities in given their quarter to the societal development and growth.
The chairperson equally pointed out that giant efforts has already been given nod by the DG NBC,Balarabe Shehu Ilelah who promised to pilot the women professionals network to greater heights.
Hadiza also explained that,the forum has been in existence for few years now with the sole mandate of exploring ways to tackle all forms of challenges bothering women In Bauchi state.
She mentioned that all women professionals of Bauchi state indigenes are eminently qualified to join the forum for membership registration.
Hadiza Maikudi called on all critical stakeholders in the state to support the actualization of this professionals movement,for the betterment of the society in general.
In her separate remarks,Amina Abdullahi Girbo,a woman journalist,urged all professionals women network to work together as one united entity in promoting the wellbeing of the society and women in particular,she added.
