As the March 11th General elections approach, the Kano Action Democratic Party Gubernatorial Candidate, Honorable Sha’aban Ibrahim Sharada OON, is leaving no stone unturned in his effort to rally Kano voters.
In his latest campaign move, the candidate visited Kano South Senatorial District, leaving a lasting impression on the women and youth of the area.
Before taking the campaign stage in Gaya town, Honorable Sha’aban paid a visit to the Emir of Gaya at his palace.
The Emir, Alhaji Aliyu Ibrahim Abdulkadir, stressed the importance of every Nigerian’s right to contest for any position, as long as they believe they can deliver the dividends of democracy.
However, he also noted that problems often arise after the election, when opponents prevent elected leaders from performing their duties.
The Emir assured the Honorable candidate that, as the father of all, he and his council are ready to counsel all politicians, regardless of their political affiliations.
For Sha’aban, Gaya holds a special place in his heart, as it is one of the roots of his heritage. This visit marked a homecoming of sorts for the ADP Governorship candidate, who also serves as a member of the House of Representatives.
In his speech, Sha’aban emphasized the need for a partnership between the traditional institutions and the government to restore peace, law, and order in Kano. He also made a vow to secure employment for the young people of Kano, ensuring a brighter future for the next generation.
The Kano South Senatorial District was thrilled by Honorable Sha’aban’s visit and his commitment to a better future for Kano. With this latest campaign move, the ADP Governorship candidate is sure to make a lasting impact on the voters of Kano.”
