Governor, Mai Mala Buni, of Yobe State flagged off the construction of N3.8bn for Geidam Ultra-Modern Market at Geidam the headquarter of local government area.
In his Speaking during the flagging-off the governor said the market would improve trade and commercial activities in the local government as well as facilitate inter trade activities with neighboring state of Niger Republic respectively.
According to the Governor, the contract of the ultra-modern market awarded to one company from the state Green and Blue construction company at the cost of N3.8bn for the period of 12 months respectively.
The governor also used the occasion to commission about 2 newly constructed primary healthcare centres and one renovated as part of 138 healthcare centres constructed by his administration within the first three years of his tenure.
He also commissioned one mega ultra-modern School as part of effort to ensure sound education delivery services to the citizens of the area and state at large.
The Governor also attended the 2023 Campaign rally organised by the All Progressive congress APC In Geidam attended by Party stakeholders include The President of the Senate, Senator Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan and other dignitaries and thousands supporters.
