Zamfara PDP insists on using Bvas during Guber election

The Peoples Democratic Party PDP Zamfara state branch said the party will not accept manual voting system in the next Saturday governorship election, stressing that the use of bimodal voter accreditation system must be apply during election in the state.
This was made known by the publicity secretary of Zamfara state PDP gubernatorial candidate in 2023 general election Alhaji Faruk Shatiman Rijiya at a press conference in Gusau Monday.
According to him, already the party informed the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC in the state about their decision for necessary action.
He said the party will not accept any election results submitted to INEC without using Bimodal Voter Registration System during next Saturday governorship election in the state.
“We already assigned our members who will monitor how the gubernatorial election exercise will be conducted in all poling units across the 14 local government areas in the state”. He said
Shatima further urged the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC in the state to ensure hitch free election in the next Saturday governorship election.
He enjoined members of PDP in the state to remain law abiding citizens and eschew any acts of causing havoc during next Saturday governorship election in the state in order to enable INEC conduct hitch free and peaceful election.
