Adamawa State governor Ahmadu Fintiri and others have mourned the district head of Jada, Alhaji Umar Ardo Jada, who died at the age of 78 years.
The deceased who was buried in Jada is survived by a wife and nine children.
Fintiri, Ganwari Ganye, Alhaji Umaru Adamu Sanda and others, who attended the funeral prayer,
noted that the royal father would be missed as he left indelible footprints of sacrifice for the peace and development of his land.
The governor described the late Ardo Jada as a beacon of hope, whose character transcends the shores of Adamawa State.
According to the governor, the entire state will miss Ardo Jada’s mentorship and his leadership abilities of serving humanity and Adamawa as a whole.
He sympathised with the royal family and the entire people of Jada, telling them that death is inevitable and a mortal cannot question the authority of God.
The governor urged the bereaved family to take solace in God over the passage and emulate the wise counsels of the royal father, praying to God to grant him eternal rest. Prayers were offered for the family and repose of the soul of the deceased.
