The Emir of Fika and Chairman of Yobe State Council of Traditional Rulers Dr Muhammadu Ibn Abali Muhammadu Idrissa has today offered items of clothing and cash to Orphans in Potiskum town for the Preparatory to the Sallah celebrations.
When Distributing the materials at his palace in Potiskum town, the Royal Father prayed for unity and peaceful coexistence among the people of the area.
The Emir used the forum to appeal to well-meaning individuals in society to always assist orphans in order to earn them an improved livelihood.
The orphans were chosen from the districts of the entire Emirate of Fika.
In his vote of thanks, the District Head of Arikime, Alhaji Haruna Usman described the Emir as an examplary leader who has always been preaching peaceful coexistence and support to orphans and vulnerable persons in the entire Emirate.
