Bauchi State Governor, Bala A Muhammed has officially sworn in the 2023 Batch A Stream 2 NYSC members posted to the state with a call on them to remain patriotic and committed in the areas of their respective assignments.
Represented by the Secretary to the state government, Barrister Ibrahim Kashim at Wailo NYSC Camp in Ganjuwa Local Government Area, the Governor urged the Corp members to build upon the foundation of the scheme which fosters unity and progress of the country irrespective to existing differences.
Governor Bala A Muhammed reflected that the Fifty year old program has remained relevant in making Nigeria a strong indivisible country which remains relevant in the evolvement of the Nation.
He stressed that while in their places of assignment, they should absorb the positive culture and ways of life of the people to enable them bridge culture and traditions to strengthen the uniqueness of Nigeria
The Bauchi State Governor reassured that his administration will continue to empower youth related programs that would forster unity peace and understanding amongst the generality of Nigerians.
In a speech, State Coordinator of the NYSC, Rifkatu Yakubu thanked Bauchi State Government for erecting the perimeter fencing surrounding the Camp which was destroyed during last year’s rainfall season.
Rifkatu Yakubu explained that two thousand three hundred corps members were posted to the State under the current batch A Stream 2 out of which one thousand two hundred had already registered.
