Barely one week to the exit of President Muhammadu Buhari administration after eight consecutive years steering the affairs of the most populous black nation in the world.
The administration has engaged the services of experts technocrats and juggernauts in different field of human endeavour which eventually and dramatically transformed the economic, political, and the social fabrics of the nation.
Prominent among those who dutifully, honestly, and painstakingly contributed their quota in shaping, directing and redirecting the past presence and the future of this nation is that quintessential Aviation Guru who serves as Aviation Minister Sen. (Dr) Hadi Abubakar Sirika.
Sen. Hadi Sirika had immensely and greatly contributed in revertilizing, rejuvenating the aviation sector who by dint hardwork, ingenuity, creativity and inventive prowess changed the hitherto urgly narrative in the Nigeria’s Aviation industry.
This, he did and achieved through transformation of all existing Federal Airports through construction of runways and general rehabilitation of the Nigerian Airports nationwide much as incidences of Air crashes which used to be the hall mark of the Nigeria’s aviation sector has drastically reduced.
I cannot think of three incidences of air crashes if not the one in which the then Chief of Army Staff General Attahiru and his military colleagues got involved.
Moreover, the Sirika initiative has given a sense of belonging to Nigerians through employment generation and such other philanthropic gestures which endeared him to the minds and hearts of million Nigerians.
Sirika had demonstrated honesty, integrity and above all the fear of Allah and piety in the position he held. He was prudent,accountable and amiable in his disposition.
The minister had proved to be a patriotic Nigerian who is ready and willing to serve his country. He has never ever betrayed his master as it has been eight years today since his appointment as a minister but he remained obedient to his master, the president and all he is doing was to promote, depend and protect the good policies and programmes of the government.
Today, it remains few days but many hours and minutes to the glorious exit of the president Buhari administration for another Administration to takeover but Sirika remained steadfast, committed and determined to serve with a view to ensure a successful transition of power from present administration to the incoming government of His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinibu the Jagaban Borgu.
We the jama’ar Hadi Sirika would inshaa-Allah in the couple of days come out en masse to recieve our president Muhammadu Buhari in Daura and celebrate, eulogise and commend him for doing us a proud as the leader who transformed the socioeconomic landscape of Nigeria by fighting corruption, revertilization of agriculture, security reforms, youth empowerment, and such other developmental strides he put in place.
