The Jigawa State Chapter of the All Government Chairmen Association of Nigeria (ALGON) has elected the Chairman of Garki Local Government Council, Muddassir Musa as its new Secretary.
A statement issued by the outgoing Commissioner for Local Government Alhaji Kabiru Sugungun, said the election of the new Secretary of the association followed the vacant left by the estwhile Secretary Alhaji Muhd Muktar Zannah Kazaure who was elected member Federal House of Representatives.
The statement said the by-election of the ALGON Secretary was approved by Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar.
Meanwhile Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar has congratulated both the Federal House member elect and the new ALGON Secretary and wished them success in their new Political offices.
