Fresh crisis is rocking Zamfara state chapter of the APC as critical stakeholders have unbundled their oath of unity.
It could be recalled that Zamfara APC stakeholders at the instance of the National Working Committee resolved to unite with an oath and convenant.
The two factions of the former Governors Matawalle and Yari cemented together with resolved to work for the successes in the party during the last general elections.
“The coming together of the political gladiotors in zamfara state and the oath and the convenant they agreed to be together under one united All progressive congress was widely welcomed accepted decision”.
It was gathered that, the failure of the APC in the Governorship electlon and the Zamfara Central Senatorial ticket create confusion and division among the gladiators.
Commenting on the development, A stakeholder, Hon. Sani Takori maintained that, there was serious crack in the APC as gladiators have parted.
According to him, APC is still divided over haterate and desire for vengeance.
Takori, a former member of the House of Representatives, said based this assertion on the out come of the results and the unespected defeat of the party in the election.
According to him, Out of 24 members of the state assembly, APC lost near two third to the opposition party, one senator, some members of the House of Representatives and the biggest was the defeat of the governor.
“The party is more divided now then ever before, because the accusation and counter accusation now going on”, he added.
Takori explained that, the most unfortunate thing was that, the party had not put in a strong structure for postmortem after the election to examine the disease that was inflacted on the party.
He stated the issue of anti party was the only topical amongst the members but to identify those behind the anti party remained a misery.
“It is quite unfortunate, that some of the gladiators were in talking terms with others as they were busy fighting themselves in looking for appointment”, he added.
According to him, the leaders were sorrounded by gold diggers who are interested in telling them what they need to hear not the bitter truth.
“The eminity amongst the members in all local government was born out by forceful marriage of decept by the leaders and insincere oath”, he stressed.
He asked the national working of the APC to wide in and dissolved the party leadership for correction as the party had great challenge in the state, until these issues are solve.
