The All Progressive Congress APC Zamfara state chapter has accused governor Dauda Lawal Dare of the state for fabrication of lies against Dangote and Bill Gate to score points in politics.
This is contained in a press release signed by the state publicity secretary of the party, Yusuf Idris and made available to Hotpen in Gusau Friday.
According to the statement, the party had watched a video clip full of lies and deception coming from governor Dauda Lawal in his efforts to destroy the image of Zamfara State APC leader, Bello Mohammed Matawalle.
” The video clip is clearly making cheap fabrication of untrue assertions quoting Dangote and Gates verbally during their meetings in Abuja the Information is becoming too colloquial “.
” The disclosure by the governor while addressing selected respected citizens who paid him Sallah homage at the Government House, Gusau that Bill Gates and Dangote personally told him that they have given up on Zamfara and will no longer give assistance or support to the state to mitigate child killer diseases or out of school children, speak volumes of how far the governor can go in his claptrap against the past government”.
The party described the address by governor Dauda as compulsive issue that both philanthropists, Dangote and Bill Gates should view so that their names and humanitarianism don’t get smeared by the governor’s drool over what they did not discuss with him.
“The records are always there to clarify official matters and the governor will be serving the good people of Zamfara well if he makes reference to the existing records which he has unhindered access to substantiate his claims”.
“his T will include the fact that neither Dangote nor Gates ever gave any assistance either in cash or kind as support to education or healthcare at whatever level throughout the last four years when Matawalle was governor. So, the duo couldn’t have given up on a state that they actually did nothing to, unless if the governor was putting such equivocates into their mouths to score political points in their absence while using a forum he had with them as leverage.”
The party challenged governor Dauda to show any evidence that either Dangote or Gates made any contributions to save Zamfara people or children from any plight while Matawalle was governor.
“It is also left for Dangote and Gates to verify the information of their last meeting with the Zamfara governor as being dished out to the unsuspecting people of the state and Nigerians in general.” The statement read
The party advised Governor Dauda on the need to concentrate on his governance and stop the blame games which are concurrent with failure.
