Arrangements are on top gear for ruling All Progressive Congress APC to have former Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje as its Acting National Chairman.
Hotpen reports that, the decision of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu to appoint Abdullahi Umar Ganduje as Adamu Abdullahi successor was sequel to the internal crises wrangling the party in many states and even at the national level.
The appointment of Ganduje as acting chairman of APC according to findings will bring back the lost glory as well as bring together the aggrieved party members, “Ganduje been a competent, experienced hand will reorganise the party.
“The President may have settled on Ganduje because he believes the former Governor possesses the qualities he seeks in a leader for the party”. Finding revealed.
To achieve the set objective, President Tinubu was said to have sent delegations of some heavy party stalwarts to persuade Ganduje, who was already under consideration for a ministerial appointment.
The stalwarts delegated to see Ganduje includes Imo State Governor, Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum, Kwara State Governor Abdulraham Abdulrazaq, and Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun.
It was reliably gathered that, the former Kano State Governor, Ganduje has agreed to work in the best interests of the party and the country.
