Renowned philanthropist and founder of the Aminu Takai Foundation and Innovation Support (AFTIS), Engr. Aminu Adam Takai, has commended Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s administration for its effective handling of security concerns within Kano state.
Speaking to journalists during the event, Engr. Aminu Takai, also known as (Sardaunan Takai) lauded the government’s swift action in addressing security issues under Governor Yusuf’s leadership.
He highlighted the remarkable progress made in curbing phone snatching, which has now become a thing of the past.
Expressing his enthusiasm, Engr. Aminu shared his pride in launching the Aminu Takai Foundation and Innovation Support (AFTIS), aiming to contribute significantly to his community and the state at large, focusing on areas such as health, education, and empowerment.
On matters of healthcare, Engr. Aminu applauded Governor Yusuf’s efforts in the reconstruction and reopening of Hasiya Bayero Paediatric Hospital, a development that promises improved medical services for the region’s children.
Turning to education, he expressed his endorsement of recent directives from the state government, underscoring his alignment with their educational initiatives.
In addition, Engr. Aminu encouraged the youth to actively engage in productive activities and assume roles as ambassadors of peace within their communities, fostering positive development throughout Kano state.
Acknowledging his political mentor, Engr. Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, he praised Kwankwaso’s capabilities and astuteness.
Engr. Aminu expressed his intention to follow in his mentor’s footsteps by fostering inclusivity among all citizens, regardless of political affiliation, religion, or ethnicity. He emphasized that unity and cooperation were pivotal to sustaining peace and progress within the state.
