As the nation wide warning strike by the NLC entered second day, commercial activities paralysed in Dutse, Jigawa state capital as major street with less vehicle movement.
Majority of workers in the state have shunned their places of work for fear of possible harassment from members of the union who are on inspection visit to MDAs.
The major street of Dutse linking the metropolitan city from the state secretariat witnessed low movement of vehicle as only Keke Napep and motorcycles are seeing moving.
In Katsina State, The strike action by NLC Katsina state Council as directed by the national secretariat of the Congress was recorded a huge success.
Civil servants in the state complied with the Congress directives led to total lock of all offices.
The state NLC monitoring committee were active everywhere and reports gathered from our 34 branches in the local governments of the state was also a huge success.
Hotpen reports that, the two days nationwide warning strike will end tomorrow and work will fully resumed by Thursday and wait for government decision if the action of the union will yield positive impact.
