Malam Gambo Jika, National Vice Chairman, Nigerian Aid Group of Jama’atu Nasril Islam (JNI) has reiterated the group’s willingness and commitment to serve humanity.
Jika stated this in commemoration of World First Aid Day in Yola.
The Day is being observed on Sept. 9th annually.
The theme of 2023 was First Aid in the Digital World’ which promotes utilisation of digital tools and its resources that aid in the provision of first aid education.
Jika called on their members to redouble their efforts while discharging their duties.
“We will continue to render services to humanity in diverse areas.
” Such as emergencies like accidents, places affected by conflicts, among other areas.
“We will use our energy, time, and resources to discharge our duties
“And we are doing it at no cost because we are not after earthly rewards.
“We lost our members while discharging their duties, and we organised special prayers for them,” he said.
According to him, in Adamawa the group is active in training and sensitising its members for effective service delivery.
