Combined team of security agencies have embarked on operation show of force on streets of Kano metropolis ahead of judgment by the governorship election petition tribunal.
Hotpen reports that, the development might not be unconnected to display of efforts by the security to forestall breakdown of law and order.
The Command’s spokesperson, SP Abdullahi Haruna confirmed this in a short video accompanied with message shared in it official Whatsapp group.
SP Haruna explained that the team were patrolling strategic locations within the metropolis to show it presence on ground in the state.
The message reads, “Team of Combine Security Forces on Operation Show of Force Patrolling Strategic Locations Within Kano Metropolis as Election Petition Tribunal Delivers Kano State Governorship Judgement Today, 20th September, 2023,” SP Haruna said.
