Jigawa State Governor, Malam Umar Namadi has seeks for a renewal of commitment to the principles of unity and cooperation that the State is known for.
Governor Umar Namadi stated this
in his Maulud messages through his Chief Press Secretary, Hamisu Muhammad Gumel, the Governor called for peace, happiness, and blessings for all, reminding the muslims of the need to follow the footsteps of the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) and strive to be the best versions of themselves.
Governor Namadi also enjoined the people to work together to uplift one another, support those in need, and collectively build a brighter future for communities.
He emphasizes the importance of strengthening bonds of brotherhood and praying for peace and prosperity for all nations.
According to the statement, Governor Umar underscores the teachings of Islam, which call for justice, kindness, and respect for all.
Said he:-“May this Maulud bring peace, happiness, and blessings to all of us. May it remind us of our duty to follow the footsteps of the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) and strive to be the best versions of ourselves.”
Namadi also enjoined Muslim Ummah to reflect on the significance of this blessed occasion, which commemorates the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.), a “beacon of light and the embodiment of mercy for all mankind, and emphasizes the timeless and universal example set by the Prophet’s teachings of compassion, humility, justice, and steadfastness in faith.
“The life of the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) serves as a timeless and universal example for us all. His teachings of compassion, humility, justice, and solid faith continue to guide us in our daily lives. It is a day to remember the importance of following his noble character and emulating his virtues, the statement added.”
The Governor encourages all to draw inspiration from the Prophet’s life and teachings, particularly in the face of global challenges and uncertainties. He calls for the application of the values of love, tolerance, and understanding to build harmonious and compassionate societies.
