
Assalamu Alaikum, my Dear professional colleagues, on behalf of the New Exco of the state Chapter, I want to register our sincere appreciation to you all for your contributions and support from the very day the idea of AGM, Public Lecture and Election was conceived to the day of our inauguration at Tahir Guest Palace.
I want also thank you for the confidence you reposed in the new team to steer the affairs of the Kano chapter in the next two years insha Allah, though it is a tasking responsibility but I believe that with you around things would be relatively easier for us as we intend to run the affairs of the chapter with consultations, seeking necessary advices and delegation of responsibilities were necessary.
While seeking for your kind prayers, support and anticipated cooperation, I want to you to realize that we are not better than any body but Allah in his wisdom made us to be the Exco of chapter, therefore your helping hands are seriously needed so that together we can make Kano chapter more vibrant, innovative and worthy of proud not only by us but to sister chapters and other related institutes, Unions and Associations.
Our appreciation also goes to the Kano state Governor who was represented by the Commissioner of Information and Internal Affairs, Hon. Baba Halilu Dantiye, MON, mini, the Katikan Kano, Alhaji Habibu Bello Dankadai who represented the Emir of Kano, National President of the Institute, Dr. Ike Neliaku, Immediate Past President, Malam Mukhtar Suraj, a council member and the chairman of Bauchi chapter for having time to be part of the historic occasion.
I also want to appreciate Prof. Abdallah Uba Adamu our key presenter, the discussant, Malam Yusha’u Shu’aib and members of the Academia of varoius ranks.
Special appreciation goes to our able Council Member and a Mentor, Dr. Sule Ya’u Sule for his untiring financial and moral supports to the chapter as a whole and at individual levels.
The Immediate Past Executive Members must also be remembered and appreciated for their unquantifiable contributions to the chapter and I believe they will continue to guide us.
On the final note also, I want appreciate students of Bayero University, Kano and other institutions that graced our occasion including members of the fourth realm of the estate (Gentle men of the Media) for their support.
