Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa State has expressed his administration’s resolve to develop the educational sector and uphold the interest and welfare of teachers in the state to enable them to compete favourably in contemporary society.
The Governor also congratulated teachers in the State on the occasion of this year’s World Teachers Day, assured them on his administration’s readiness to boost the morale of educational sector at all levels.
Hotpen reports that, October 5th was set aside to recognize and appreciate the important role that teachers play in education.
Governor Namadi commended the enormous contribution of teachers to societal development and stressed they deserve to be appreciated for the positive impacts they make in society.
He further appreciated teachers for their doggedness and dedication in instilling knowledge and grooming best minds in the State and nation as a whole, urged them to have an unwavering commitment and dedication to their noble profession and renewed commitment to duty.
