Determine to improve the quality of teaching and learning condition, Jigawa State Government has refunded examination fees of 550 students of College of Health and Science Technology Jahun worth N18.6 million.
This was contained in a statement issued to newsmen by the Registrar of the College, Malam Nura Garba, said “government has refunded the National Examination fee for 550 students from the College of health technology”.
He explained further that the sum of N18, 660,000 was directly paid to the student various account.
Garba said the gesture is part of the 12 point agenda which annually paid the tuition fee and examination fees to all indigine students studying various course on health related matters at the college .
The Registrar further explained that this is part of encouragement to the students of health to put more effort on their tools for the state to have a good qualified health workers who will take care of all the state and local government health facilities after their graduation.
Speaking of the benefititng students who recieved his refund of examination fee from the college, Sadiya Yusuf Makama Gumel said she recieved the money refunded by the college through her bank account last week and she confirmed that majority of her colique have also saw their own .
She thanks the Jigawa state Government for the gesture accorded to them, called on her colleagues to always support government policies and programme.
Also speaking, Malam Ashiru Abdullahi Babura, said at the time he recieved the alert he couldn’t believe it that is his examination money refund to him by the college, he has to call and confirmed from the college’s treasury.
Babura said it is only here in Jigawa state student of health were given maximum support and assistance unlike other state of the federation where parents will do every thing needed by the college, he therefore urged his colleagues to always support the state government’s policies.
