Governor Mallam Dikko Umar Radda was in Malumfashi during the week, where he attended the funeral prayer of his aide, Dr Shamsuddeen Malumfashi who died following a ghastly auto crash. May the gentle soul of the departed rest in aljanna firdaus, amin.
I traveled to my country home town, Dayi and what I heard from the residents prompted this write up.
On his way back to Katsina, Governor Mallam Dikko Umar Radda Phd had a stop over for more than fifteen minutes and even stroll down along Dayi- Yashe road. The Governor was so free with the inhabitants and asking the whereabouts of political associates in the process.
They disclosed that Mallam Dikko Umar Radda Phd was throughout his brief sojourn enquiring about what members of the security watch corps are doing and wether the people are happy with their outings in the community. Of course, the reply he got was so far so good.
However, the people he met by the roadside in Dayi also told their Governor that they were happy with his handling of the state so far. They quickly told him that some of their kids got employed under the conversion of SPower teachers to permanent and pensionable appointment. Some also were employed under the security watch corps.
The high points of the encomiums showered on Governor Mallam Dikko Umar Radda Phd was when I attended the Jumma’at Mosque prayer, where Imam Haruna Dayi of the congregation held along Gwarzo road requested faithfuls to always assist the present leadership with prayers for the Governor to sustain the momentum of socio- economic development of all sectors of the state.
The Imam was particularly happy with the recent payment of WAEC fees by Governor Mallam Dikko Umar Radda Phd, saying that the effort will make children of the less privilege to either further their education or for some to join military and para military institutions as recruits. Imam Haruna ended the sermon by saying that DIKKO RADDA YA FARA SAKARSA DA FARIN ZARE.
