In an effort to chart a new course for Basic Education in Nguru Local Government Education Authority, Alh. Hamisu Ado Nguru, who is the Ag. Education Secretary of the Local Government has swung into action where he summons all the critical stakeholders in the sector in order to rub minds between the management of the Local Education Authority and all that the matter as per Education concern throughout the Local Government Area.
Addressing the gathering, the Education Secretary admonishes the mammoth crowd; stressing that all hands must be on deck in order to take the Education to all the nooks and crannies of the Local Government area.
He said, ” right from the inception Governor Buni’s Administration declared state of emergency on Basic and Secondary Education; that singled action spells out the Government priorities which is Education.”
Adding, “With support of all of you the sky is going to be the limit for our younger generation, what they expect from us is the conducive environment for learning .”
Ado said, “The Yobe State Commissioner on Basic and Secondary Education, Dr. Muhammad Sani Idris, Chairman Yobe State Universal Basic Education Board, Prof. Musa Alabe are appealing to all and sundary to queue in and provide support in terms of providing qualitative Education at all level – emphasizing that Education is a responsibility of all.”
Shortly, after the meeting, the Ag. Education Secretary embarks on touring some selected school communities to shoulder with the representatives of critical stakeholders: the NUT as well as the School Base Management Committees (SBMC).
