Muslims and indeed all mentors are implored to make the best use of the month of Ramadan to develop and inculcate more spiritual values and piety amongst all faithfuls. Making the call in Kaduna, Alhaji Umar Kaila Danzariya said, it is now time for brotherly support, and seeking forgiveness from Allah (SWT).
He said it is the month of Ramadan is for greater religious accomplishments and spiritual revival for all Muslims. He stressed that men, women and children all have various requirements and needs that are best guaranteed through prayers and seeking forgiveness.
He said thus, seeking the night of Majesty – ( Lailatul Qadar) is a veritable way of redeeming lost opportunities and desires. An opportunity that should not be wasted by all Muslim faithfuls.
Alhaji Umar Danzariya stressed that, groups such as Old Students’ Associations should serve as platforms for review, and critical analysis of the fundamental social, religious and economic challenges facing individuals and communities and the nation at large, at all times.
Alhaji Umar Kaila further suggested that collaboration, communication and effective and purposeful union and bonds make the society far more resourceful, stable and productive. He said as human beings “we all have our shortcomings that call for sober reflections in this holy month, as well as plan a course of action that will revive and strengthen faith, modesty and chastity”.
He said as man is constantly in a state of lost’, seeking religious treatment and solace is most desirable which stands to be achieved with objective and clear purpose of seeking forgiveness from Allah (SWT), and repentance for final redemptions and transitions.
