Zamfara state governor Dauda Lawal Thursday flagged off remodeling and upgrading Yariman Bakura specialists hospital in Gusau as part of his administration renew hope on health sector.
Governor Dauda while delivering a speech during flagging off ceremony held at Yariman Bakura specialists hospital stated that the project was aimed at modifying the hospital to meet national standards.
According to him, healthcare delivery services to the people in the state is part of his administration priority, adding that all health facilities across 14 local government areas will be modernized to meet national standard.
“My administration from inception declared state of emergency on education and health sectors and we shall strive to reinvigorated the two sectors to high standards considering its total decaying previously”. Gov Dauda Lawal stated.
He charged contractor handling the project to ensure quality job and complete it as scheduled.
In a remarks, the contractor handling the project, Alhaji Mustapha Falaki MD/CEO, Minjirya Health Services Ltd, pledged to ensure quality project execution in the hospital.
According to him, the project includes the construction of new complexes for obstetrics and gynecology, radiology, and laboratory, alongside the renovation of existing buildings and landscaping.
He also promised to complete the project within the stipulated time.
