A senior officer with the Nigeria Custom Service, Mr. Essien Etop Andrew is dead.
The deceased was until his death a Deputy Comptroller of finance administration and technical service at the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS).
It was reported that, Essien coughed and slumped while fielding questions from members of the house of representatives committee on public account on Tuesday.
Andrew was later rushed to the national assembly clinic where he was confirmed dead.
