I salute you all, a concerned citizens of Northern Nigeria, write to express my deep worries about the precarious state of our region. The pervasive insecurity, poor governance, and stagnated economic activities have brought our region to a crossroads. We implore you to take collective and decisive action to address these challenges.

Insecurity:

• Banditry, kidnapping, and terrorism have ravaged our communities
• Unprecedented human suffering, displacement, and economic loss
• I urge you to collaborate with the Federal Government to deploy a comprehensive security strategy

Poor Governance:

• Our region lags behind in development indices, including education, healthcare, and infrastructure

I appeal to you to prioritize education and healthcare in your budgets

• Invest in critical infrastructure, including roads, water, and energy

Stagnated Economy:

• Our region’s vast natural resources and human capital remain untapped.

I suggest you support entrepreneurship and innovation initiatives

• Invest in agriculture, industry, and regional trade

Way Forward:

• Collaborate and engage with stakeholders to restore peace and security
• Promote good governance and transparency
• Support economic diversification and inclusivity

We believe that a collective and sustained effort is required to address these challenges. We urge you to work together to restore our region’s glory.
