In a remarkable display of international diplomacy and cultural exchange, Her Excellency, the First Lady of Jigawa State, Hajiya Hadiza Umar Namadi was warmly received by His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, alongside several other distinguished guests from 90 countries during the just concluded 2024 Hajj exercise.
A statement by the Special Assistant Media Affairs to the Jigawa state governor, Zainab Rabo Ringim said “The prestigious special invitation to the Jigawa First Lady, was a recognition of her outstanding contributions to humanitarian causes and women’s empowerment in back home in Jigawa state.”
Rabo said in the statement that “Hajiya Hadiza Umar Namadi’s services to humanity that attracted international attention was inspired by her husband’s numerous actions programme that had elevated the life of ordinary folk in Jigawa.”
The statement explained that “Being a guest of Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the King of Saudi Arabia, is a significant honor and privilege. It indicates that the individual has been invited to visit the King or has been received by him with special courtesy and respect.”
The Special Assistant Media Affairs stressed that “This royal reception marks a significant milestone in the Jigawa First Lady’s humanitarian endeavors, solidifying her position, like Dan Modi as a champion of social causes and a symbol of Nigerian-Saudi friendship.”
